After the morning of glorious dressing the strong willed wonder. (Should I just let her wear the sundress even though it's too cold and learn for herself?) BTW, while she was at pre-school today I removed all the sundresses from her closet. Anyway, we got to pre-school and she was grinding against her carseat. I have discussed it w/the therapist and he said it's normal that it comforting for her like sucking a thumb. So she was holding her stuffed giraffe in hand and furiously grinding away. Everyday she wants to bring a stuffed animal into school with her and everyday the teacher says it has to go into her backback so I told her we were going to put it in the backpack which evolved into a huge fight that I won. I ended up carrying her (she wouldn't walk because she didn't want her shoes to get wet in the rain). I carried a crying child, her backpack, and her lunch into the classroom.
Another great day of being a stay at home mom to a child that fights about everything with me (sigh), Exhausting, time outs are exhausting.
