Everything is jus plugging along for me. The Strong Willed Wonder is getting early intervention and we have decided that was really great, but she needed more than 1 day a week so we're using our insurance and she's seeing an OT (thera.play). Hopefully it will help iron our some of the kinks before kindergarten in 2 years.
I think I need to make a pediatrician appointment though since she can't fall asleep on her own and she's now 3 1/2. One of us has to lay with her until she relaxes enough to fall asleep. We are just plain old tired. I want to try melatonin, but I don't want to try it without direction from the doctor.
My husband is NOT into a sibling at all so it does not look like is in our near future. I don't think it's a never situation, it's that the SWW is a very demanding child and likes to be the center of attention. Although the thought of a brother or sister for her to play with instead of us makes my heart sing (that goes back to that tired thing).
Anyway, I am thankful the holdays are done and overwith. For me it was long 4 weeks. If you count Thanksgiving to New Years, my FIL was an alcoholic and my husband did not have a happy holiday childhood so he is not a happy holiday/birthday kinds of guy. So, thank goodness another year has passed.
