Blah Blah Blah

Life is quiet here.  I joined Cur.ves.  Not because I'm overweight, just for the weight lifting aspect.  They did take my BMI and everything and I felt like I was the youngest person there, but the monthly fee is low, the membership comes w/a nutritionist, zumba, a walking group, and is only a 1/2 hour which is my speed.  I briefly belonged to the Y.MCA and that was 80 a month for 1 person and the men grunting as they lifted weights was really not needed.  This is all women.

The pre-schooler is doing great!  She is really responding to the more structured environment my husband, pre-school, and I are providing.  I'm exhausted, but she's doing great!  We began the adoption process when I was in my late 20's/early 30's and then we were on the adoption wagon for a number of years, followed by infertility treatments, and returned to adoption.  All that lead to us finally bringing the pre-schooler home when I was 35 and my husband was 37.  Now I'm 39 and will be 40 in February.  What's my point?  I wish that we had somehow been able to start earlier so we COULD add a sibling.  Despite the horrendous expense that college now is.

Now I'm just not comfortable adding another little one to the family because of my health condition.  We don't know where that is going or what will happen.   Nor do I think I have the energy.
