All is quiet...

After my husband being away last week my body finally said, you are tired and my arm which was the main opposing factor in my last relapse 5 years because REALLY painful, a little numbness, and scared the heck out of me.  I was at the Y walking on the treadmill  so I scurried home and took a nap.  Did NOT turn into a relapse :-) :-) so a few more good nights sleep and hopefully will be on the road again.

This is the big thing my husband has been working for for the past 8 months that caused all the anxiety, hurdles, and stress.  He tried 2 years ago unsuccessfully, but gave it a shot again and was SUCCESSFUL!  I am so proud of him!

Lovey Girl had the letters she made in pre-school on the walls in her room.  They were beautiful works of art :-).  After being in kindergarten for a few months she told me she wanted me to take them down and have a more grown up room.  So she now has a hot pink area rug on the floor (we have hardwood), a new more mature comforter set, and I purchased some wall decals.  I have plans for some new shelves too, but I don't know if I want to go out and buy them today or give myself the day to vegetate.

I am looking into another social skills group for her.  She has one awesome one that she will continue, but she could use more.  She still doesn't know how to initiate conversations and such with her classmates.  An FOCUS, yikes!  She is lacking there. She's very smart and from what I've read, most kids learn how to function by teaching themselves...  This one has an after school program, a camp, and a lot more options for kids who have ADHD.  It's also close. I sent an e-mail, but have not heard back yet so I'll call this week.  It's hard to find ones that are a good fit.  Often it's children that have much more serious problems than she does and that doesn't help her so I haven't been able to find any besides the one she is currently in.

Football Sunday so I have promises my husband I will watch the game with him. He has newly filled growler in preparation.
