Randomness

So much SNOW!  Enough is enough!  If it isn't snow it's ice.   YUCK!
 
The husband and I talked the other day and I told him I had narrowed moving location down to two locations.  He said he preferred the one.  Cool.  It's actually the one I liked better. http://www.boroughofambler.com/

So then I said that I'd like to sell our house next summer because of school for the little one.  He was agreeable.  Then he said that since we want definite things he thinks we should rent in the location we'd like to buy in and wait for the right house the right taxes and amenities.  Which I think  is a  great idea.  Probably not the most financially savvy solution, but we don't want to make the same mistake so we're doing a very safe thing.   The school district is good, but we don't want high taxes in case we have to do private school or a charter school for the strong will wonder.  She is fantastic, but who knows what what will happen with her ADD or ADHD (different places evaluated and gave different diagnosis).  SO, this summer we will get the house power washed, and have a landscaper come so anything planted will have a year to grow a little.  I will be de-cluttering and de-cluttering.  We are going to get a big box store shed this winter because the price is right and we have to clear out yard supplies & snow blower from the garage.  The 2 car garage has to look big, spacious, and clean.  We will be putting a new vanity in our tiny master bath in the near future.  Many  rooms have to be painted and freshened up.  We have a reoof that is under 9 years old so we're good there.  We  have gas hot water heaters and gas in the kitchen.  I don't know if that is important to people or not.  It is to us since we've  both and gas is SO much less expensive than oil heat.  I also love cooking with the gas stove.  We have granite counters in the kitchen and hardwood floors in the whole house except bathrooms and kitchen.  So we'll see :-)
