Summer is NOT a relaxing time for the parent. On the + side the little one is potty trained this summer so she's able to do camp :-). It's township camp so the hours are 8:30-11:30. I didn't realize how little can be done in 3 hours so I have to pick. Do I want to go grocery shopping? Go to a doctors appt? Exercise? Clean? It's really only enough time to do 1 thing done.
Anyway, I managed to get the pre-schooler government medical coverage because our insurance does not cover any behavioral stuff. Now the tricky part will be choosing a place because I don't like our county early intervention unit & her counselor is a flake. Some of the moms in the moms club have gone to the next county to get services. Don't know if that's the right move or just picking an organization that is in our county, but isn't early intervention. I just don't have enough experience. Grrr...
Looking forward to August because the strong willed wonder and I are going to the mountain house with my parents and my parents are paying for a mother's helper. Plus the strong willed wonder can ride her bike, play outside, swim, and use all her energy. She loves it there. It's also 10 degrees cooler :-)
