The strong willed wonder and I have been sharing a bed for a while so the two of us went to bed and SLEEP (w/the help of mel.atonin for her, her behavior therapist gives it the thumbs up, but all the reading says that no one is sure of the effect on growing bodies...the reproductive system of all things so she only gets .25 ml of 1% liquid in juice occasionally. And yes, our pediatrician also gave it the thumbs up.). Anyway, so at 5am she woke me up, my husband who was up with the dog talked her into going back to sleep and then he had to come and WAKE us up.
So then we looked in her stocking and was estatic with joy to see a pink stuffed poodle ;-) and headed to church. BUT the best part for her is that she got a Pol.ar E.xpress train. Am.azon had some sort of timed sale and we were able to purchase it for $25 vs the normal $150. She LOVES it. The jingle bell bracelet and necklace were not even on par with the train and her new lego set was great, but that too paled in comparison. My parents got her a pink jeep that again paled in comparison.
