The pre-schooler had her Christmas musical play on the last day of school which was VERY cute and she did a GREAT job!  Major irony happened.  Here's her costume.

YES, my strong willed wonder was an angel ;-).  VERY cute.  We went to Mac.y's in center city today.

which is a tradition since her adoption was finalized on the 23rd of December.
And the she managed to make it through almost the whole day w/out falling asleep.  Except waiting at the train station before leaving...

That little cat nap got her through and the energy machine is again ready for action.

I think I over-shopped for her and I suggested to my husband that we save some of the gifts I purchased for her birthday which is in April and he wanted to give it all to her.

In other news my husbands manager told him that the president of the company branch he works at only has 5 more years of work left unless they can round up more government contracts since they make government helicopters there.  Although he's working on a commercial airplane right now.  Anyway, the helicpters have a union and the company is trying to slowly get rid of the unions mostly because their contracts have them being paid more than if they give the work to a different plant in one of the non union locations.  Hmm, now we have been talking about moving because we feel like out house is not fitting for us anymore.  Location is great, but it's a split level and purchasing a house w/3 stories for someone w/multip.le sc.lerosis probably wasn't the wisest idea.  I have no disabilities at all, but do we just assume that will always be so?   Well, time for dinner talk later.
