Randomness

Ah the strong willed wonder pushes and pushes.  I have to learn how to be more firm and consistently instill the green light and red light choices.   Which does work.  Tired just thinking about it.  I somehow have to get in the habit ;-).  She is always challenging me.  I downloaded her kindergarten supply list today and I think I can get the majority at 5 Below.  I was there today and with my parents and they would have purchased if I had had the list with me.  Alas I did not so tomorrow I will go back.  September 2nd school starts!  ACK, I can't believe it.

I find that part of me loves being at home, but the other part of me really misses working and having an income that I am in charge of.  Either way my husband earns far more than I would if I was working and I accept that.   Speaking of my husband his promotion thing is going smoothly.  I submitted his paperwork last week.  Now the people who are giving him recommendations will submit their letters next month, he'll eventually have a face to face interview then scores are totaled.  We'll know if he got this company wide expert status by October.  With this expert status comes a parking space, stock, and all sorts of neat cool things like that.

We are going to on vacation in 3 weeks and I am looking forward to.  We chose Maine and I love Maine.  I actually love the New England area and if there were jobs in that area for my husband you can bet I would be pushing for that.  I love the beauty, the history, and the cooler temperatures.  We are going to a beach town and staying in a 2 bedroom cabin w/in a resort on the water.  There is a heated pool that I'm sure the SWW will love.  1 BR for ML & SWW, 1 BR for husband and I along with a kitchen and LR.  So it will be week of seafood glory!  LOBSTER and CRABS!  YUM!
