Busy Busy Busy...

I'm a SAHM and I am busy pretty much all the time.  Ok, yes, I'm typing on the blog right now but I do have to walk to the bank to pay the mortgage, water the plants, and come back to take a shower.  Where am I going with this?  I saw a full time job listed at the high school with summers off.  It was an administrative position and the description was definitely within my capabilities.  Then I found myself thinking about how we're planning on moving next summer.  Did I want to start a full time job, become part of that group of employees and make friends to move away?  I also was thinking of all the sleep I require.  I go to the bed by 9 every night and getting the little one to school at 8:30 is doing me in.  It'll just get earlier as the years progress and since there are attention deficit issues I'm not sure that I can count on her to get herself together for school on her own and be on time.  Even now I have to constant remind and keep her going.  I am going to an interview at Tal.bots which is a higher end clothing store and there is one near where I currently live and one near where we  would like to move to so I guess that would work.  They make great petite clothing and since I am vertically challenged, I love it there.

I am less than thrilled that the elementary school scheduled field day and May day on the same day.  Too much for the SWW.  She got invited to a birthday party too so I asked her if she would prefer to go to the party of May Day. She chose the party.  Ok, in the mean time I'm relieved to have one less thing on the schedule for that day.

The little one is going to Reading Camp this summer.  She H-A-T-E-S reading and sounding out words.   She loves math.  As of right now she doesn't know she's going to reading camp.  I told her it was township camp (it is) listed 2 friends of hers from kindergarten and the kindergarten complement who are going.  I just omitted the fact that it was a reading camp.  Reading Camp is half day so I'm relieved we joined a pool and I signed her up for gymnastics again.  Then she has camp with her social skills group and that is also half day and I know she'll love that.  We do have 2 free weeks where she could do YMCA camp if we chose too.  I signed her up for it for the whole summer, but the academic strengthening stuff has to come first.  A little guilty, but that's the way it is.

She is still begging for a dog.  Wondering if I can talk my husband into fostering at the SPCA.  He was an English Labrador Retriever.  They are beautiful and nice, I was trying to convince him to consider a Labradoodle for less hair. As of right now  we are dog-less and I am enjoying the peace and quiet but at the same time I miss having one.
